India Mark II Extra Deep Well Hand pump, is to modified version of standard India Mark II Hand Pump, for drawing water from 45 to 90 meters depth, manufactured as per Indian Standard : IS:15500/2004. Above ground structure made of mild steel, hot dipped galvanized, corrosion resistant, 63.5 mm dia cylinder assembly. Most of the components are similar to the India Mark II Hand Pump with following differences :

• Handle is thicker - made of 40 mm Square instead of the 32 mm square. Moreover, it has tee arrangement and counter weights. The counter weights attached to the tee type handle assist in the easy movement. The number of counter weights depend upon the exact depth at which cylinder is placed, i.e. 1 weight to be used for depth of 61 to 70 metres, 2 weights to be used for depth of 71 to 80 metres and 3 weights to be used for depth of 81 to 90 metres
• Cylinder assembly is different and has the provision of 3 pump buckets.
